Sefa Çabuk was born in 1964. After working for several years in private sector, he switched to be a technical teacher and retired on 2015.
He started to hand-craft knives and swords as a hobby because he has always found it exciting what mankind can do with steel through the history. Not only modern manufacturing techniques, but he also worked on traditional manufacturing techniques. He crafted many types of different knives and swords with diversified materials, because he've always taken care of not to repeat himself on crafting. He mostly concentrated on geometry and heat treatment on his manufacturing processes, as he thought the most crucial point is the material property in the way of functioning
He designs and applies each step of manufacturing processes of his knives and swords especially from their sheats to scabbards; motives to inlay. Hence, his crafts contain an integrative aesthetics and a qualified craftsmanship.
He believes that knowledge belongs to humanity and needs to be shared. Thereby, Sefa Çabuk shares all his knowledge to the people who are interested, to include them to the excitement of the process.
